Banked at Zions for 25 years. My credit card was maxed out. I tried to pay off the account in full, from another bank, so I could use my card while travelling, since cash is not accepted in so many places today. Zions would only accept payment in full by phone, if the money was held at Zions Bank. If the funds were coming from another bank, Zions policy is to only accept the minimum of $35.00, allowing me $35.00 credit for travels. Great place to bank, staff is friendly and knowledgable.
Terrible customer service. VERY RUDE!!! I WOULD NEVER BANK THERE AFTER MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. I'll go to anywhere but there. Anna Jones was extremely rude as well. Honestly, never felt so disrespected before.
Very disappointed today to find out they wouldn’t cash a Zion’s bank check which THEY ISSUED without charging me 6% of the check’s worth. I didn’t even know that was legal. At the very least it’s extremely slimy practice. I’ll be avoiding their business like the plague here on out…
