I took my mom here for Mothers's Day, and we had an exceptional experience. It was very busy, yet the gentleman who appeared to be the manager or something like that (tall, dark-haired) made a point to check in on all the customers and wish any apparent moms a happy day. I was amazed that even though it was a packed house, we were served quickly and felt welcomed and not rushed. On a side note, they also did my wedding cake and wedding and baby shower cakes -fabulous.
Can't say enough good things about VB!!! The food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is so friendly (Christine, Don, Andrew, Steve (retired) & several others that I haven't learned their names yet!) We've lived in the Tucson area for just less than a year and have taken out of town visitors there about 5 times! We get sandwiches from there quite often to take home for dinner, have eaten breakfast on the patio several times & the pastries are the BEST!!!
