If it would give me a choice for zero stars, that’s what this apartment complex would get, but seeing as that’s not a choice, here we are. There are many grievances I have with this apartment complex and its management. Please.. stay away from these apartments if you are able. 1. The apartment manager is hard to reach 2. Roaches and big rats are abundant. 3. Swimming pool is out of commission. We were there from 2021-2025 and not once was it ever open. 4. Horrible Experience – Stay Away! I would strongly advise against staying at Villa Serrano Apartments. Our stay was a complete nightmare from start to finish. First of all, the amenities listed are misleading—the swimming pool was out of order and completely unusable. To make matters worse, the property has a severe pest problem. We saw both rats and cockroaches running around, which is completely unacceptable and unhygienic. Our experience living in this complex was extremely frustrating. During our entire 33-month tenancy, the swimming pool was never operational for even a single day—it remained closed for "maintenance" the entire time. Despite being advertised as a smoke-free community, there is a constant smell of marijuana and smoke throughout the property. Maintenance requests take an unreasonable amount of time to be resolved, sometimes over a month. I recently toured the small, gated apartment complex, and I must say I was truly impressed by how clean and well maintained the property is. The manager, Oksana, was absolutely amazing,she was thorough during the tour, patient with all of my questions, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. While onsite, I also had the opportunity to speak with a resident who has lived there for four years and spoke highly of the community, especially its safety and quiet atmosphere. I’ve been living here for about a year, and I have to give credit where credit is due. Oksana is an amazing property manager, keeping the property safe and clean. Oksana helps maintain a peaceful environment as I amongst others work a full time job. I would highly recommend living here.
