Over the Christmas, we stayed at one of Barbara's lovely apartments. The two bedrooms apartment was super clean and charming with lots of sun lights. We have plenty of room for me, my husband and our 2 children.( 9 and 10 yr old) The location is incredible. We were able to walk to Union Square and walk back to our apartment. There is a washer and drying in the building. Trader Joe's and CVS are just down the street. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. Renting from Barbara was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made and it really ruined my experience in San Francisco. have never had to interact so much with a landlord. She entered our apartment daily (granted our lease did say that daily maid service would be provided, but it did not say that SHE HERSELF would enter constantly). Her "maid service" consisted of making the bed and taking out the trash. She did not clean the apartment at all. She also entered for reasons outside of... read more

Review Barbara I call my stay with Barbara GOD’S GIFT. I stayed 3 months with her together with a room mate and we could not have been more lucky finding Barbara. I had been looking on Facebook and Craigslist for 2-bedroom furnished apartments but it was so hard to find anything decent and affordable as a young student. My wife, three teenagers and I stayed at Villa Nob Hill for four days in July. We loved it! The building and apartments are beautiful and relaxing. It is right on a street car line and a block away from a grocery store. And Barbara the host was wonderful. It was the perfect base for us to explore on our first trip to San Francisco. We definitely would stay here again. Thank you Barbara!

If you are visiting San Francisco, this is a MUST. Brought my wife for the first time and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms were fully furnished, clean and the attention to detail and service was top notch. A real home away from home! Parking was a bit of a challenge but considering the service and the proximity to downtown San Francisco, it was a very very wise choice for our lodging.
