This was an amazing place about a year ago, but several nail techs are not good at all. The last tech I had made 4 of my fingers bleed (which almost never happens) and made a huge mess on my skin that wouldn't come off for several days despite using remover, etc. Seems like some of the great techs moved to the new location in Hodgkins/Countryside. Really disappointed because most most of the other salons in Oak Lawn are crap.

I usually love this nail salon. However, today was different. Usually a friend and I have Maggie, Joe or a couple of other techs. Today I had Mark for the first time. Twice, he nipped my cuticles (pedi), and acted as if I inconvenienced him, when I asked him to be careful. He continued with the lack luster application of the scrub and did a mediocre job on the bottoms of my feet. I smiled, asked him how his day was going, etc. He was "cool" at best. I’m not one to leave reviews, but based off the service received I felt the need to do so. I set for over 45mins wait for someone to do my nail. Yes, granted I came in not all glamorous, probably looking like I wouldn’t tip well. I watched people come in behind me receive service before me. Finally, a technician came over and told me he would service me, only due to the fact he had a no show. Never judge a book by its cover. I’m a business owner in oak lawn as well. Everyone should be treated accordingly.

Phil does my pedicure and his wife Katie does my manicure. They are both the BOMB.com. When Phil does my pedicure he takes his time and the foot and leg massage is out of this world. He is very knowledgable about the feet and toe nails. I had an ingrown toenail when I first saw him and he took care of it and I haven’t had issues since then.
