My father in law lived here for 7 years and never liked it. When he moved out, they did not refund his entire deposit because legally they could keep part of it. He hadn’t been in the apartment for almost 2 full months due to illness, but still paid for the apartment and meals, cable, etc. They were given notice on the 3rd of February that he would not be able to return. My father didn’t like living at Villa Maria. He stayed seven years because he couldn’t afford a better place, but he hated the food and felt the office staff were indifferent, though the housekeeping staff was kind to him. When they lost power for several days last year, I got a call from a housekeeper (not anyone in management) to inform me that I needed to come pick up my father. When I asked how I could get him down three flights of stairs without an elevator, I was told that was my problem to figure out. He wasn’t refund... read more
