When you ask for the patio, they say just a few minutes, but we can seat you now at the bar. You say I'll wait for the patio, it's such a nice night. Then 30 minutes later, they say they have a table in the bar for you. Hello, I said patio, oh sorry we don't have enough waitresses to sit you on the patio tonight. So why are you telling me this now after waiting 30 minutes. Terrible service. Review coming for food, if we ever get it.
Villa Macri is one of the first places my husband and I visit when we return to South Bend/Mishawaka from our retirement home In Florida. The building is beautiful, the owners are on-site, the staff friendly, the food delicious and bartender James remembers the way I like my drinks from previous visits! Perfect.

We had my son's rehearsal dinner at Villa Macri. Everything was excellent. They were very helpful in planning the event and answering all of my questions. The staff was very helpful. The evening of the event they were attentive and the service was exceptional. The food was very good. I could not have been happier with our experience.
They discontinued my favorite dessert (and really the only reason I went there)...the Brownie Cow Cheesecake. Beautiful restaurant, food is pretty good...but like I said the Brownie Cow Cheesecake was really the only reason I went. I would get a piece every time I stopped in and I would buy a full cheesecake several times a year.
This review isn't so much about the food as it is about the tent parties. I live a mile away from the restaurant and can hear every word of the music inside of my house, with the windows shut. When people have work and wake up early, it's ridiculous to play music past 11pm. It's gone on until 2 am before!! You have no respect for the people in the community which is why I refuse to support their business.
