The Villa Chateau Apts is dilapidated, and there's major problems with getting any maintenance issues fixed, if you ask me, I would say only rent here as a last resort and a "SLUM LORD" operates these dilapidated units, they are in need of major repairs and the maintenance crew never comes to fix anything.

I had a good time, always felt fairly quiet, spacious and safe. Occasionally you could hear the train at 2 am, I only heard it because I was up at weird hours. Walls are thin, but the neighbors are quiet. The deadbolt on my door was a little tricky to set, but my roommate and I never put a work order in to fix it. Also we did not get all of our security deposit, but most of it was taken for cleaning fees, which though higher than expected were still understandable.

Yes it’s cheap but you should invest 100-200$ more into where you’ll be living. Management is not good. Built in the 1970’s. Things were broken before moving in that I put in my pre move in surgery and was still charged for. I paid 16$ cash in rent and got my receipt. But they still charged me in my FMO. Yes it’s only $16, but it’s the fact it happened.
