Dr Vilas Saldana gave me my life back in July, 2021. I fell from a ladder and shattered my hip. I now have a rod & pin holding my right hip together. With the proper recommended rehab and a lot of PT homework I got stronger to the point of texting Dr Saldana if I could run again. His response was so positive I moved forward to getting back to road running. I’m now 75 and finished the 3026 Cap 10k in about 80:minutes. I’m very proud of that! I recently broke my shoulder. This is not a good experience for a 72 year old woman, but Dr Saldana and Texas Orthopedics has done an amazing job from the initial surgery to the complete follow-up. I would highly recommend this office for any orthopedic needs. The entire staff has been excellent to work with. As a healthcare worker myself,I am able to spot quality, efficiency, and genuinely caring staff. This office has it all.

Dr. Saldahna was recommended to me by a friend who had her knee replacement performed by him. Her brother's knee surgery was also done by him. Both had great outcomes. My surgeon had left his practice and was no longer in network so I had to find someone new. Dr. Saldahna's PA came in first and discussed my issues and answered my questions and provided a knee injection for me. He brought in Dr. Saldahna to meet me afterwards. We had a very concerning experience with Dr. Vilas Saldanha (Texas Orthopedics), on-call at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, during my 93-year-old mother’s treatment after a fall. Dr. Saldanha did not directly communicate with my mother at any point during her hospitalization. He never greeted her or spoke to her, and all communication was directed to me, even though she was the patient. That set the tone for the entire experience. Referred to Dr Saldana by another Ortho surgeon.Had appointment reasonably fast. He took his time, no rush and told me what to expect slowly and in detail, but no pressure to proceed with knee replacement. His staff checked in with me within the week and I decided to go ahead. Pre op work up and clearances were scheduled and completed without a single problem. In and out of surgery at the hospital and was home in my own bed the same night.
