Was working with a sales representative, everything was going smooth and was getting regular responses and got my building picked out. I put a down payment on a building and was supposed to be get plans sent to me. Has been over a week past when they said I would get it and I can't get anyone to answer my calls or respond to emails or updates. Turned to a ghost after getting my money. This business is a joke and needs shut down. I regret choosing them to work with and can't believe they are trying to scam me out of my money

This company will refuse to honor their contract agreements. When they send you a contract on behalf of a manufacturer, they will wait till you contact them on why the building hasn't been built. Then they will tell you that you are out of area. They will proceed to claim they can no longer honor your signed contract, because they made a mistake. The original manufacturer did not notify us of the problem before all manufacturers were forced to add a surcharge to their orders due to the increasing prices in materials. I ordered a 24 21 9 open carport from Viking Steel Structures on Feb 11 2021 and was quoted a price of 2517.12 for delivery and I would install it myself, signed a contract and paid 368.64 up front. They contracted it out thru ******** ********. Checked up on the progress 2 wks later and was told they had to get another company so now I signed another contract with ******* ***** **********on Feb. 25 2021, same deal. I worked with Solomon and ordered my building in November 2020. I gave them my deposit and was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks, maybe longer because of the holidays which is understandable. It is now March and my building is still not in. I was charged extra do you have a permit pulled on my behalf and that was never done. I got a call from the scheduler of the installer on Monday to schedule the installation but nobody has pulled any permits. They will tell you anything to sell you a building. I live in TX requiring stamped drawings and wind certification. they told me of course that's no problem it is part of the design and included in the price. when it came time to schedule the install I requested the drawings to submit for the building permit and said it would be an additional charge. do not trust anything they say.

When Viking Steel Structures sends an order to a manufacturer, generic architectural drawings are typically included but may incur an additional fee if the plans need a wet seal. In the case site specific drawings are required to acquire permits, an additional fee will be added for those plans since they have to be made in relation to the site of installation.
I am currently in the process of buying a steel building from Viking Steel Structures. I am working with Johny and he has very good to work with. He has great people skills and is very knowledgeable about the products sold and the process to be followed. So far I am happy with the service provided by Viking Steel Structures.

Do not use this company. Terrible customer service. Called to get a quote, very rude. I asked him how long to get a carport 18x20 he said “since it’s something small it will not have priority so it would be 3 to 4 months. I thanked him when I got The quote, he Is laughing and joking with others in the background. He doesn’t even hang up the phone completely and says “Man! This Lady!! Then laughing. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Totally unprofessional.

The absolute worst costumer service I’ve ever seen. Really bad attitudes little to zero information. Was on hold for 30 min then got hung up on. Do not use this company, super unmotivated staff.
