Remember they dont build the buildings they are a rep for building manufacturers. Therefore after the sale and once the contract is signed their level of support drops drastically. One tidbit they wont tell you is, if your building isnt a full truckload then they put others on with it and your install date becomes an estimation based on how the weather is for the other customers. I could not be more displeased with this company. They are a front, they do not provide any of the products they sell the customer. They take your money, and contract out to a subcontractor to build the building you thought you purchased from them. It is taking twice as long as we were initially told it would take to build our building. The contractor (Carolina ********* they subbed out to doesnt call us back when we call to get updated. Ordered my barn week of July 4th. Put deposit on my credit card and by the middle of August , I had a beautiful barn at far less than I expected to pay. Not sure why all of these people have had problems, but I was very pleased with the structure and the group that put it up.

viking steel structures is obviously a scam operation, based on the complaints here and our own experience. My husband gave the company rep his credit card number to pay a down-payment, supposedly of $1008.00. We asked for a receipt to be sent by email. When it arrived, it showed that the amount of $3620 instead had been charged. Also, it was not an actual receipt, which should show what was ordered, what the amount paid was for, and what the balance would be. I will tell you what I think about this company. They are the worse business is you can call them that. I ordered a garage and was told 4 to 6 months put a $3000. down payment and many phone calls text messages, and more phone calls and this 100 day clause they have sucks big time. They at first answered your phone calls and text messages and then when they got their money then zero answers and no text. Please what ever you do don't go with this company. I have spoken to Mrs. ****** and per our conversation, she has been trying to reach the manufacturer, not Viking Steel Structures. Viking Steel Structures is an independent dealer for most leading manufacturers. I have reached out to the manufacturer via phone and email and as of today not heard back. The contract between Viking and Mrs. ****** states the deposit is nonrefundable. Mrs. ****** stated she wanted to cancel and has already chosen another route for her storage needs.
By far the worst company I have dealt with. They stole over $1500 from me and I still don’t have a building. They are ripp offs. Do not buy from Viking steel structures. Probably will wind up in court with them

Once the deposit is made the order is then submitted to the manufacturer. The Contract states very clearly the deposits are nonrefundable. Paid a deposit on metal building 2/5/21. Updated building plans & deposit 7/21/21 and no building yet, will not answer phone calls. Viking steel structures is the dealer, Carolina carport is the builder, Both will not answer the phone. I would not advise anybody to do business with these people.

BUYER BE AWARE! I understand that COVID has had an adverse effect on timelines and avaialibility of materials...however, they handled them poorly with me. I spec'd and ordered a building from VIking Structures in Apr of 2021. The process started off pretty well. once the down payment was made that is where the problems began.
