Stonybrook needs to have just flooring in the hallway. Especially ones that have washer dryer. In my apartment alone has had numerous leaks. Sometimes they would have to have a carpet cleaner come out. Also you use horrible laminate that can't get cleaned with even 4 washes. The laminate doesn't shine. If you're paying over $1500 - $2000 you should have decent flooring that match and able to clean
I feel compelled to warn others about this apartment complex. In my experience, it has been very unsafe due to the conditions of the property. A tree on their property fell on my car and destroyed it, causing me to not be able to drive it for 2 months. Management has not been accountable, many of the issues are still completely unresolved. You can get FAR better value for the same price. Wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone.
See prior review about no water, then no hot water, doors not locking, trash not picked up and dumpsters overflowing at The Wexford Lumberton. The poor management and lack of transparency continues. They will “woo” you in and send you an eviction scare letter from their retained legal team when you express the those concerns. I had the worst experience with Wexford and their parent company, Viking. It all started in June when I visited a new property. We had a verbal agreement on a price of $2560. I confirmed with the leasing office that the price would remain the same until my wife could see the house. The next day, my wife and I visited, and she liked the place.
