I initially signed up with Viking Health anticipating a standout DPC (Direct Primary Care) experience. While my experience had its challenges, I also want to acknowledge the effort Amy has made to address my concerns. There were some initial missteps that left me frustrated. Communication could have been clearer, and certain details, like appointment logistics and billing changes, caused unnecessary confusion. Amy is absolutely incredible. She so obviously cares about each patient as an individual and takes the time to really listen and actually hear concerns. Her knowledge, understanding, and compassion are so evident. THANK YOU AMY FOR BEING THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE. 🫶🏻
Amy has helped me in so many more ways than medically. She's amazing, very personable, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend visiting her for any medical needs you may have. She is super convenient with texting or phone call appts at any hour.
I absolutely love Amy! Before getting to her I had a horrible year of unforeseen events with 4 ER visits and hospital stays that resulted in misdiagnosis and being made to feel like I’m crazy. After finding Amy she throughly examined me and attentively listened to all my symptoms and we were able to come up with a game plan and she got me to the right specialist that finally gave me the right diagnosis. If you want to be just a number and never see the same provider twice, keep going to the big clinics. If you want individualized attention and have the provider follow up and see the person again - this is the place. Amy takes the time to learn about what you need and does not push you out the door in 15 minutes to keep a quota. This is what the valley needs in healthcare and it is good not to feel like a number but a person.
