I really wanted to like this place. We had so many people tell us to visit because everything was amazing. Well nothing is amazing after a 65 minute wait. When the staff was approached, we were told our food would be out in a minute and that they were just re-heating our fries because they had been made and then “left out.” An hour+ wait and re-heated fries. I had the Vera (burger with warpig, bacon, grilled pineapple, and bbq sauce). It was AMAZING. And I shared the Viking Tots with my hubby. We're just so full and happy right now. Love the new location, too.

Michael (the owner) was absolutely amazing! We are visiting the Newport News area and got into a car accident and Michael was near by in a parking lot and came over to check on everyone. We got to talking and he told us about his burger place, Viking Burger, near by. Michael very generously invited us to lunch on the house. Food was delicious. If you have a large group they offer cheap family meals. Overall great experience.
I placed an order around 10:30 for pick up at 12:00, once I arrived at the store I was told one of my orders had been cancelled because they were out of tots. I wasn’t contacted asking if I would consider a substitute or just a common freaking courtesy to decide whether or not I could want to keep my order without the tots. WOW! I look for burger places when I travel. this is at the top of my list. plus it is not a chain restaurant. fries were over the top. burger was excellent as well.
