Don't see him as often, as before but when I do he is always concerned for my health, in every detail, and I really appreciate that. The patient portal is not read by Oncology very timely. or not at all sometimes. Other portals are used by doctors and staff much more frequently.
Dr. Aurora and Mackie are always understanding and knowledgeable. They send more than enough time with me when it’s needed and they always make sure I understand everything they’re explaining to me!!
I think Dr. Aurora is an excellent doctor...knowledgeable & takes his time to explain test results & reasoning behind his recommendation. I also like the two women who greet you in waiting area...always very friendly & helpful.

I was referred to Texas Oncology and Doctor Aurora by my primary care physician 8 1/2 years ago. Doctor Aurora has been the best medical professional I have ever known. He is professional, informative, knowledgeable and truly provides compassionate care. I lived in Grapevine when I first started seeing him and now I drive 250 miles round trip for my appointments. I will continue to treasure the excellent care I receive from Doctor Aurora and recommend him without reservation.
Doctor Vikas Aurora is special. He is an extremely competent and up to date Oncologist, and an extremely nice person.
