The food and service never disappoints at Vieux Carre. Excellent wine selection, wonderful cheeses, meats, dips, and specialty items. A local gem in Monroe.
The gumbo ya ya absolutely wonderful. Seasoned to perfection and presentation was great. The steak was excellent and you cant beat the price. It is probably the best value in town because you pay by the ounce. My husband got the drum topped with lump grab. The fish was cooked perfect and the flavor with the butter sauce was phenomenal. VCM prepared pizzas, burgers and shrimp philly sandwiches for a get together last night and it was AWESOME!! Hats off to Chef Chris and team. Officially my favorite restaurant in Monroe now!!!
