I did not grow up going to church. In fact, I was opposed to the idea. I always believed in God, but I didn't feel like church was for me. But as life went on, I felt rather alone in my faith as I didn't know a lot of other Christians. I tried 2 other churches in Norfolk and left feeling more isolated as I didn't feel very welcomed. The Pastor and elders do a great job teaching us about the word of God from the Bible. This church feels like home. There are several small groups and things that are available to participate in. A nursery, children's church, and Sunday school are available. If you want to watch one of the services before coming in person, the service is broadcasted live on the Facebook page at 10:15 am on Sundays! We have always felt welcome here and love our church!

I love how the word of God is preached and shared at this church. They don’t water it down for anyone, they teach the Truth. They help reach out, because they really care about people. They want people to know the truth and know Jesus. The church really loves people.
