An iconic Eastside coffee roasters, Victors is the best coffee in the Redmond/Bellevue/Kirkland area. The flavor is bold but not burnt and the ambiance is really comfortable. Flannel, bread pudding, and a latte at a quiet natural wood table next to a fire is a pretty good way to start your day.
As always it was great. First time back in awhile (moved out of the area) and was pleasantly surprised to find they now take cards.
I had awful experience with the owner. He throws people away from his shop. Cleaned my mug while I was still enjoying my coffee with reading a book. Later found out he hates people stay his shop longer that's why tables are always empty. He often grab cash from register to his office in front of customers. I really hate these experience and behavior. To be fair, all other folks who work at the shop are very friendly and nice but when he shows up, it's a different story. I never go back.
I'm a hard working American and I was working there on my lunch break which I always work through. I was respectful of their no Wi-Fi rule so I pulled up my laptop to try to get something done. 10 minutes later the owner comes storming out and yells at me for taking up an extra chair and table and tells me not to use them as an office. How rude! We are both trying to make a living and apparently he only wants to serve people who don't work for a living. Was there after 11 years as we moved out of the area in 2006. The cappuccino was still great. People were still very friendly. Brought back some wonderful memories. Loved the no wi fi policy.
