The food and service was spectacular. Highly recommend. There food menu is awesome. I wish I had a restaurant like this in Albany and Clifton Park, New York.
Unfortunately this restaurant didn’t live up to its reviews, though I was really looking forward to enjoying it. What really brings the rating down is that I was overcharged twice on my bill — Shrimp appetizer was $2 more than advertised, and the side of fried cabbage was TWICE as much; $5 on the menu vs. $10 on the bill. I was also told they are unable to print paper checks, which means you have to pay close attention to the screen when you pay your tab on the POS handheld, which I’m glad I did. Average. Good quality food. Terrible service from the waitress at the bar. Food took a long time to come out. Atmosphere tries to make up for the bad service. Whoever the waitress was up front needs to be replaced.
Food was good overall. The broccoli was great. My friend sent her shrimp quesadilla back because it was salty, but they were accommodating. My salmon was good. The mac n cheese was ok.Our server was good as well. But the bill with an 18% service fee saying it was "not a tip" blew me! So now I have to tip my server on top of a service fee. Since when? We had a horrible experience at this restaurant. Horrible service. 5 Hours of waiting. Chef came out to apologize. We wrote down our order on a sheet a paper. The server quit. It says it stay open until 2am, but they were turning people away starting at 10. Honey old bay wings are good. Took us 3 hours to get beverages. Floors were dirty.
