Specialties We are an amazing Bed and Breakfast occupying a Historically protected Victorian Italianette Mansion of over 7500 square near the downtown of Galena Illinois. We have two acres of peaceful landscaped grounds. The house contains four large parlors used for dining, lounging and entertaining. RecommendedWe stayed at the Victorian Mansion during the 4th of July holiday. Sally and Bets are wonderful hosts, serve a delicious breakfast and strive to make your stay very comfortable. The mansion is lovely and takes you back in time to the 1800s. We highly recommend staying at the Victorian Mansion to make your visit to Galena more memorable. We look forward to staying there again in the near future.

Loved our stay at the Victorian Mansion. Bets and Aunt Sally are so sweet and made our first experience in a bed & breakfast memorable. If we visit Galena again, we will stay here!! Breakfast was delicious, and the Esty Room was perfect for us. Within hilly walking distance of Main Street with many shops and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Fried Green Tomatoes and Galena Pub & Brewery.
My wife and I chose this bed and breakfast to attend a wedding in Galena. We had an absolutely wonderful stay as the room was clean and inviting. The staff, Bets and Aunt Sally, were professional, friendly, and very accommodating. The whole mansion is cozy, warm, and charming. Charlie and Rita were tip top. We thoroughly enjoyed the history and unique ambience. Be warned Rita is a skinny mini and it's not a pig out breakfast. Oh well-the paradise grill has a sat and sun buffet breakfast for us hungry folks. Will visit again!
