This company has an agent in the Atlanta office by the name of Darryl Garth who is involved in fraudulent schemes. He called me to advertise himself and claimed he was calling from American Home Mortgage, and that he got my name from Lending Tree. The conversation was short as i told him i didn't plan to buy a house in the nearest future. He kept trying to convince me but i refused and told him i had not even started house shopping and that i could only begin shopping sometime in Nov. Not great. Was recommended by an employee. Gathered so much info and went through so many people at Victorian and still was not enough. Had to pay for a letter from our accountant. Refused to give up our company tax returns and they said fine, we will cancel your loan app, goodbye. Too much info! Gave them everything the average Joe who works for someone would be required to give. Worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. Extremely stressful having to send documents multiple times. Finding out property in a flood zone days before supposed closing. They are very disorganized. Have to babysit them instead of them taking care of you. Still waiting on closing. Wish I could rate negative 5 stars.
