Just went here last night to celebrate my mom and sister's birthday. We didn't say it was anyone's birthday, but the waitress asked when she saw some cards and gifts. She told us that they would each receive a complementary chocolate mousse, which was a nice little surprise! We got the coconut shrimp for an appetizer. I ordered a fresh haddock with shrimp and scallops in a bread crumb lobster Sause topping. “Our signature shrimp, scallop, crab and seasoned cracker crumbs finished with rich lobster cream $24.” Unless the seafood was in the form of a paste, I didn’t get any. The haddock was previously frozen, mushy and fishy smelling. It tasted old and left out. Not flaky like fresh fish. I sent it back, got the prime rib. I think the prime rib was previously frozen too. We had a great meal! Wonderful Lobster Mac n Cheese, tons of lobster meat. Great baked Haddock, very fresh. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable on the menu. He was great!
The quality of the food in my opinion has gone down hill from past experiences I have had. The drinks from the bar could have be better as well. I am hoping this is just a one off thing as I really like going here, especially in the summer months.
went there with my wife and son my wife had fish chips which was good me and my son had the gate 2 prime rib which good but both prime rib dinner were ice cold so we had to send them back to reheat plus they use to make the best apples in thick cream with raisin and walnuts now it is water down cream sauce no raisin or walnut we loved coming her but last 2 times have been a disappointment kinda think maybe new owners tryin to cut cost
Had dinner here last night with Fred Votta and food was delicious. I had the baked stuffed haddock, a seafood stuffing and it was so excellent. Fred had prime rib and he said it was top shelf. Also they had great music to follow with Adam Mendonca!
