Victoria Aikikai is an amazing place. The instruction given is coming from such a wide breadth of experience, there's no doubt you're in the right hands. Everyone is friendly, warm and caring. If you are interested in honing your body as well as your mind, I highly recommend you try out a class at Victoria Aikido Centre.

I visited this dojo for a few weeks prior to the pandemic. I thought the teachers were good, and many of the students were friendly and welcoming. However there were quite a few arrogant and rude students as well. They constantly corrected me with a bad attitude (and they were not necessarily correct). One person (a black belt) was doing the wrong technique himself while trying to correct me. Overall the experience made me feel unwelcome. Perhaps this dojo has improved since I visited.
