We took my tahoe in for oil gauge not reading although the oil life showed 85%. At first we were worried that the uninvited squirrel in the hood had damaged some cables. I went to Victor transmissions because it was close to my house, he test drove my car and said that I will have to leave the car so he can check it. I asked him if it will need to be rebuild and he said maybe not, he has to check the car more thoroughly, so I asked him if it needed a rebuild, and how much? He told me that a rebuild on my Ford Crown Victoria Police will be $950 out the door and that the price was the best around. So I decided to leave the car so they can check it.
