Dr Hsu resolved my spinal stenosis...period. Suffered for years with numbness in my lower extremities. Awoke from the procedure (12/17) no symptoms since. He is a great surgeon, personable and led me through the entire process step by step. All of my questions were answered and I experienced no surprises. He stopped by to chat after the procedure and has seen me for post-op reviews. I have already recommended him to others. Would highly recommend him to anyone with similar symptoms.
I injured my back 4 years ago after lifting and transferring an old 70 pound air conditioner from a window. Epidural steroid injs stopped working after 4 years. My sister referred me to Dr. Hsu and I couldnt be more grateful. He saw how much pain I was in and he knew he could help me. Even though other physicians said nothing could be done for me. Dr. Hsu is EXTREMELY compassionate, brilliant & relatable. He treats you like family. He’s an amazing person & excellent surgeon.
Dr. Shu was recommended to me by my family doctor as well as several friends. I enjoyed working with him and I was impressed on my first visit with his knowledge already of my problems. My surgery went very well and my recovery seems to be right on track to a full recovery. I am happy that I went to see Dr. Hsu for my spine surgery,
I visited Dr. Hsu after a hand rail broke and I fell backwards down 4 steps onto a concrete sidewalk. Dr. Hsu. immediately diagnosed (after others did not) my neck problem and preformed the surgery needed to fix the problem. My recovery went well. After recovering and rehabbing from the neck surgery, Dr. Hsu then fixed a disk problem in my back as well. I looked forward to my follow up visits with Dr. Hsu because he is not only an excellent surgeon but a very caring and wonderful person.
One of the best things I did was choosing to have Dr. Hsu correct my severe spinal stenosis and herniated disc. Throughout the whole process, Dr. Hsu exhibited extraordinary skill and compassion with every office visit and right before and right after the surgery on Jan. 3, 2018. His friendliness, warmth, and professionalism are truly outstanding. He answered every question for me. The office staff was always very caring and prompt. .I already have and will continue to recommend Dr. Hsu.
Very easy. To talk with. Explains things in layman terms. Shows a lot of patience care Felt very comfortable with him. My surgery was successful and feeling better each day knows what he is doing. Would highly recommend him for spine issues
Dr. Hsu is very bright friendly and gifted surgeon. He has taken care of two of my children as well as myself and he is always very patient and helpful
For 3 months, I endured ever worsening sciatica pain which went from my hip down and around my ankle. "Treatments" were chiropractic sessions, physical therapy and pain management. Finally I was referred to DR Hsu who evaluated my condition and recommended surgery. I limped into surgery and WALKED OUT totally pain free. The day after surgery, I was able to give up all the pain pills in favor of Tyleneol. Dr Hsu restored my ability to function normally, pain free.
Absolutely the best neck spine surgeon. I would be a quadraplegic if not for Dr. Hsu
