I tore my Achilles, and, as an active 36 year old, it was a devastating injury. I went to multiple doctors and couldn’t get straight answers until I started working with UofL and ultimately with Dr. Anciano. He and his staff quickly assessed me and gave me options between surgery and non surgery. I chose non surgery, and his team guided and pushed me just enough through recovery. Absolutely could not give Dr. Anciano enough stars!!! He did amazing on my surgery I have issues with being put under so I asked to be awake and do it under local only I was absolutely terrified but once I talked to him I knew everything would be okay! Him and his team did an amazing job! I didn’t feel anything! Absolutely 100% recommend!
