I would encourage anyone considering trusting Dr. Borgia with their healthcare to read the google reviews of her practice Radiance Medical that reflect current patient experiences. Like many, many others, I had a great experience with her at first that then collapsed into being completely ghosted and left in a very vulnerable situation despite dozens of ignored calls and messages. Dr. Borgia is a brilliant and compassionate physician, and I am deeply grateful to have her as my doctor. I’ve been through the hellscape of big name academic centers and corporate run medicine ─ where no one knows my name, I’m seen by whichever random “team provider” happens to be available, and appointments are limited to “15 minutes and one problem per visit.” By contrast, Dr. Borgia’s practice is a breath of fresh air. She may be your safest option but that DOES NOT mean shes safe. Get what you can but dont put your trust in her. The harm shes caused me has such an impact it has been worse than any medical trauma i have ever experienced. Simply because she was asked to apologize she abruptly ended my care woth no referral to another dr and made it so i abruptly lost accesss to life sustaining medication for years as there are very few options medically for fat, Black folks.
