Out to breakfast at Vick's Vittles. Hubby had their featured "Cowboy Burrito" stuffed with chopped country fried steak, scrambled eggs, cheddar jack cheese, and NM chili sauce. It was smothered in green chile cream gravy. I had the breakfast Coyote Quesadilla stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon, green onions,cheddar jack cheese, with NM red chili sauce and country potatoes on the side. We both brought home half our orders so we'll have breakfast IN tomorrow. The restaurant is located just north of Kirtland AFB on Central.
This place has the hardest working owner ever. Ever. Love him. The food's not half bad either. Service is hit or miss, but overall we love coming here and feeling like we're welcomed and will eat some good (south) western fare.

The place is super clean, the staff is very friendly our waitress Jessica very sweet and efficient. The food was delicious.

The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly. I've been craving the Cowboy Burrito since I first tried it. lol
We had the prime rib and it was excellent! I loved the kale salad, and the banana pudding was fabulous. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved that the owner came out and spoke with everyone to make sure they were enjoying the food. We will definitely be back!
