The rooms are very nice, the check in process is horrendous though! We live here and go there once in awhile to get away from it all; but this last trip will be our last. It seems like the younger crowd has taken over and everyday is Spring Break. Nothing like seeing more plumbers crack as I walked through the casino, down the hallways, in the elevator and the language is inexcusable. I stayed their a coupple weeks ago and the rooms and service was great. And so was the pool. But other than that their is nothing really for the family to enjoy unless their all over 21.
We have eaten at the restaurant in the Golden Nugget twice now and both times it was great. The first time we ate there because if you signed up for the players card you got a free prime rib dinner. This time the prime rib was $7.95 because we had the card. The dinner was great. It came with soup or salad, rolls, potatoe and vergtable and the meat did not taste like a cheap cut.
