My husband brought me here for my birthday and it was an incredible night. When we got to our table, there was a handwritten card from the staff and I thought that was so sweet. The food was phenomenal, as was the service. It was the perfect night. We don't live locally, but my husband and I are already planning a return trip to the area just to go back to this restaurant.

Amazing restaurant OTP. Every course just got better and better. Escargot, Steak Au Poivre and Beef Bourguignon. Bananas Foster for dessert. Great place for special occasions.
The food at Viande Rouge is exceptionally good, just as I had heard. I started with escargots. The usual garlic beurre blanc got a bit of unexpected elevation from a spike of tomato in the broth, which did make the dish a teensy bit salty, but I loved the added taste and the chef managed to pull off perfect tender texture, so difficult with snails.
