I have had the privilege of caring for my mother as she approaches end of life with the help of a very lovely nurse by the name of Lindsay. She exudes a sensible direct approach laced in care and compassion that I have not seen in many nurses. I want to acknowledge my one- on -one support worker from the Durham hoarding/decluttering program. Each week she helped me to accomplish the hard goal of decluttering my home for me and my young children. She helped me not just with physical belongings but with my emotional attachment as well. My daughter had died 6 years before and I could not have gotten her belongings out of my home without her help! I would definately recommend this program. You will be richly blessed after each session! Thank you VHA!!!

I am surprised that I am the first one to write a review for such an outstanding organization. I am living in senior building in ajax under Durham housing .Gradually while getting older , am prone to different old age health issues. cleaning my apartment by myself, which was a routine matter ,lacked behind as I was getting more physically handicapped .
