I can not express the gratitude I have for Dr Hay and his staff. The most professional and compassionate group of people I have ever encountered. They saved my girl, Echo from a bacterial infection that rotted away her skin on her leg, that required skin grafting. They called me every day with an update. Was always friendly and professional. And the care they provided for her couldn't have been better. This was truly a miracle case.
Such an amazing staff...the best we've ever seen! They love what they do and you can tell. Our dog Lucky tore a ligament and mencius in his leg and needed surgery right away. They walked us through everything and helped us to understand the procedure. As soon as I walked in the door to drop him off for surgery I felt as ease. Dr. Thomas and the entire staff are AMAZING!!! Our dog, Bella, recently had to have surgery on discs in her neck and everyone was great with her. It was an extremely stressful time for us as you can imagine but the staff was so friendly and encouraging which made the whole process easier. They worked with us to make sure she got the physical therapy she needed. Bella was so EXCITED each time we went back for her follow ups to see everyone there. Our dog was seen by Dr. Hay. As a Gainesville resident I decided to drive five hours instead of going to the UF Small Animal Hospital. Veterinary Surgical Services appealed to me as it is a specialized facility. Dr. Hay truly cares about the well-being of your animal. Our dog does not need surgery at this time but we plan to keep in touch with Veterinary Surgical Services.
Thank you Dr. Hay for your amazing skills, your compassion and your wonderful staff. Our Australian Cattle, Dax had both of his ears seriously infected and closed up...he was in severe pain. Dr. Hay performed a Total Ear Canal Ablation. We're on our way to pick him up. Thank you Dr.Hay for taking such good care of our baby.
