VSS is truly where miracles happen. I am a member of Citrus County Foundation for Amimal Protection (CCFAP). We fund Surgery needs from our local shelter that the county will not do. With that said I have personal knowledge and have had many interactions a year with the skilled and compassionate doctors and staff at VSS. They are truly a hospital with 24 hour a day staff. I have had many conversations with tech Cindi at midnight to get updates on fur babies in recovery.
Dr Hay has now performed 3 surgeries on our two dogs. He is amazing and so is the staff. You couldn't ask for a better doctor to look after your fur babies!!
The entire staff is amazing! My little dog just had major surgery there. Dr. Thomas and everyone took such good care of her and she is recovering well. Everyone there is so caring and loving. ��
I can't say enough of Dr. Hay and his staff - aside from being extremely talented, they are the most loving and caring group and you just know your animal is in the best hands!!
Amazing, caring staff, and great surgeon! Dr. Hay took care of our German Shepherd's FHO surgery last August, and now performed a TPLO on our pittie mix. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your pet is in the best hands. Highly recommended!

Excellent, knowledgeable and professional team. Very pleased with customer service, treatment of my furbaby, and the surgical expertise...I could go on and on. Happy that there are providers like this in my area that I can trust and rely on.
