We were referred to VSC after our pup Chauncey sustained ankle fractures. Our own vet gave Dr.McCarthy rave reviews. Well, we have to agree! He spent time reviewing xrays, explaining the procedure, anesthesia, pain management and expected post -operative course. He was patient, never once did we feel rushed. Surgery is complete, Chauncey is recovering and so are his parents ( slowly.) We are able to contact him directly by email. We are so pleased w/Chauncey's care thus far. Dr. McCarthy has operated on all of my four English Bulldogs. I just love him and he is the best. I would not go to anyone but him. Dr. McCarthy is amazing and my Bulldog Brandan is special needs and the care Dr. McCarthy has given him is just above and beyond. Best Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon ever. He operated on my Colby, Bergdorf, Promise and Brandan.....All a success....
