Highly recommend this establishment for your pets. Dr.Paul is very good at what he does. During our first visit, he was spot on with a diagnosis of what may be wrong with our dog. We thought we were going in for an elbow injury, but as it turned out our dog had cancer. Dr. Paul was right. Our dog ended up having his leg amputated. He healed with no issues at all. Our little Penelope had surgery for both her right and left elbow dysphasia last year. The staff at Sturbridge and Dr. McCarthy did such an amazing job not only with her surgery and recovery but with making me feel at ease. They where always available to answer questions and had available time for appointments which sometimes I think where more for a worried puppy mom than the puppy! Our playful 2 year old Sheltie is back to being happy herding her chickens and no longer in pain.
VSC took wonderful care of my dog Stewie when he had a cruciate tear. They were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them.
Trixie is 5 yo and has had two TPLOs. One done by each doc. Both docs were so attentive and caring as were the rest of the staff. Trixie is doing well, 6 mo post second surgery. Highly recommend this office!
Cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. McCarthy and his staff. He performed a total ear canal ablation on my 15 year old cat. I was nervous due to her age but he eased every worry that I had. She is doing wonderful and is like a new cat. I highly recommend this surgery center.
