Dr. Steve Peterson is the best of the best. He explains things in a way that makes it easy to understand and has compassion for his patients. Our italian greyhound had a broken leg and now is healing wonderfully. I would drive hours to access his care. Don’t have any reservations with VSSG and Dr. Peterson.
My chorgi Paco needed a TPLO surgery, and we were recommended to VSSMG by Sadie Urgent Care in Portland. It was completely worth the distance. Their team was extremely caring and professional. I was guided through each step of the process, and Paco was well taken care of during a stressful time for both of us. Almost 2 years later, Paco is happy, healthy, and back to his favorite activity - running around at the beach!
My dog had his surgery for a fractured leg and everyone from the staff was nice and welcoming really helped calm my nerves down for the procedure that was gonna be done also Dr. Petersen was awesome in explaining and helping understand what was going to be done and how to take care of my dog post operation definitely recommend this veterinary clinic for any surgeries required on your pets
I came to Dr. Petersen for my dog's TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) in 2021 from Portland because it was a better price, and I had the most confidence in his plan. It's been over 4 years, and my dog is doing great, running around even in his later years.
Asher my 1yr old German Shepherd Dog needed PennHip X-rays and we were well taken care of and they took the time to answer all my questions! The staff is knowledgeable and very caring
