I have been coming here for about 20+ years now, and I cannot say enough about the excellent care my pets have received. The workers. and Doctors truly care. Dr. Kahler has called us everytime throughout the years when our pets have been in there for more than just a regular visit. I always thought it was so sweet of him to end the call saying, 'tell Tink hi for me'. He is where he should be. A Veterinarian in Modesto. Thanks be to God for him. ❤🐕🐱

They are friendly knowledgeable and very caring and efficient. When I came to pick up my cat after surgery I could see that all personnel involved were involved with her. They all made sure I understood the post operation care. They even called to make sure everything was as it should be and reminded me to call if I had any further questions.
I have a 2 year old Hermann Tortoise who has a respiratory infection and I was told this place specializes in Tortoise care. Very clean office and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
The best experience at the vet I’ve ever had. I came in with my sick rat. I didn’t have an appointment but they saw him right away. Everyone that helped me was absolutely amazing and kind. I don’t even live in Modesto but this will be my new Veterinary office from here on out.
I bring my guinea pigs and my dogs here. The office is pleasant, well run and is a safe supportive place for animals and people who love them. One of my dogs recently dislocated his hip and required orthopedic surgery. They are professional, kind, and deliver the highest quality care. I didn't have to be scared for my baby because I knew that he was in very good hands. I would enthusiastically recommend VMA to anyone.
I’ve always gotten fast friendly service, the prices are higher than at my previous vet but I had to switch when they moved further from me and it was no longer convenient, like my visit today cost me more than I anticipated.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Khaler, Dr. Wert, and the staff. All of my animals go there and I would not go to another Vet. Dr. Khaler and Dr Wert were so good with my old boy Copper towards the end of his life. The staff is just amazing. They are always friendly and really seem to care about every animal that comes through the door. I can’t recommend Veterinary Medical Associates enough!
