Don’t bring your animals here. The vets are inexperienced, dishonest, and recommend unnecessary procedures for profit. I brought my dog in for a simple heartworm test, and they added on a “vet tech exam” charge which doubled the total. Apparently the hourly payed vet techs do an “exam” for $70 before doing the test. I’ve NEVER heard of this from other vets in the many years I’ve owned animals, no one should pay for anyone but the vet to do an exam. I have a tricky, temperamental older cat who can be difficult. The staff at Westlake Banfield has been absolutely amazing in dealing with him and helping me with a lot of my own anxieties after some bad experiences with other vets. They have helped get my 15 year old through some difficult issues to back to being healthy and happy. It is very clear that the entire staff not only genuinely cares about the pets brought in but also the customers themselves. Words cannot express how much of a relief finding them has been.
They take really good care of our elderly cat and very accommodating with appointments. Thank you!
