Dr. McKerney has been treating my cockapoo, Waldo, with accutpunture for a couple of months now due to a spinal injry that resulted in paralization in the hind area. Waldo can now walk, a little wobbly. When recommended to me we did not know if Waldo would ever be able to walk again. Dr, McKerney is worth our drive (50miles) and time. She was also very thorough in reviewing all of Waldo's medical records prior to seeing him. Waldo is never expereinces any anxiety about going - that says a lot!
I'm always comfortable taking my pets to see Dr. Cahoon, whether it's my rats or my dog he has always shown compassion. He never overcomplicates a situation or problem which always makes the visit a little bit easier. He has been seeing my 10 year old epileptic dog since he was a puppy and recently performed a very successful surgery on my rat(yes rat💗🐀 )
Dr K absolutely fantastic he saw Brutus on short notice and the care he received was excellent the staff was very courteous and caring
Tough visit this time since my dog has Lymphoma, but got lots of support and treatment options. Been bringing my pets here since 1997 with no complaints whatsoever.
We have been taking our two dogs here for over 10 years. Dr. Cahoon always makes sure to explain everything and find options for our dog who has had a lot of health problems. Even though we live farther away now we still drive just to see them.
Brought PeeWee, who lost use of his back legs, in today for the first time and were treated with calm and care. I love the Eastern approach and we all have high hopes that acupuncture, laser treatment, and some herbs will fix the hitch in his giddyup and restore his youthful step again. Fingers crossed.
Our dog Mucho was in intense pain last Christmas and having trouble walking. After a few weeks of rest and pain medication Dr Cahoon began treating him with laser and acupuncture therapy along with Chinese herbs. We are happy to report Mucho is now a happy active fellow. As we continue with his therapy, we are very grateful for this wonderful veterinary clinic.
