I'm not sure why it's called an emergency hospital if they will not touch your animal until you pay! We thought our fur baby had been poisoned or ate something at the park and was falling over and couldn't hold himself up and was whining, we drive to this facility because it was the closest to us thinking we would get immediate help. It took almost an hour for them just to get vitals started and that's after going back and fourth on the pricing due to unecessary blood test that where NOT needed to find out if he ate somethin... read more
Brought my 9 year old chihuahua Hanna in for what turned out to be acute pancreatitis. She spent three nights with VEG. It looked pretty dire, but after less than a week back home she's almost 100% back to normal. I'm very grateful for the wonderful care she received. I appreciated the open layout, and the very friendly and caring staff.
My 13yo Chihuahua Beagle mix, Hershey, had been suffering with heart problems that worsened rapidly. Her regular vet was closed on Sunday afternoon. The people at VEG took the best care of her and put her to rest peacefully. They were the kindest people to me when I was falling apart. They made her transition as pain free as possible and although I am extremely heartbroken, I know she is no longer suffering. Thank you so very much for all that you do. 💔
Care was great. Staff friendly and my dog was treated quickly. They have blankets for dogs and humans alike. Fair warning, your bill will be VERY high, so be mentally prepared. The cost kept me from giving a 5. But I'd pay anything for my super doggo.
