I had an amazing experience here. My dog is extremely anxious about the vet and they made her feel so comfortable. My nurse Luca was extremely knowledgeable, and he made us feel super welcomed and more at ease considering the circumstances. Dr. Lacayo was great and explained everything thoroughly, even allowing us to review the costs before accepting the treatments. Horrible experience. My dog just needed to get fluids. I the fluids and prescription on hand by my vet. Unfortunately I couldn’t administer the fluids under my dogs skin on my own. I called before hand to make sure it was ok to come. I waited 2 hours and I seen pets come and go who were after me. They said the critical ones come first. Ma’am in that case I will be here forever. I’ve only ever experienced Blue Pearl emergency vet services which is quite reminiscent of most human ER experiences (I work on 911 response ambulances for two busy counties). Long waits, coldness, and vague answers with a large bill at the end. VEG was the exact opposite of that and far exceeded all of my expectations as to how the medical field typically works with humans/pets. During a busy Labor Day weekend, they helped ease the nail pain that my Josie was having. Nice & courteous staff. Definitely recommend !
This was the right call for myself and more importantly my pet. We got there and they were able to jump right on his problem and took great care of Buddy.
