The staff at VEG were absolutely wonderful. I really appreciated the open concept. Seeing the doctors and the staff dealing with other pets was very reassuring. They also did the utmost to keep my dog comfortable during what was a very stressful time for him. The staff and the doctors were kind and caring while professional at the same time. They kept me informed the entire time and involve me in the decision-making about his care. Being able to stay close to my dog while they treated him, allowed me to comfort him and keep ... read more

The VEG Georgetown team is exceptional. All of the staff are friendly and responsive. They really calmed us down during a very stressful situation. Our cat had a complete urinary blockage which is extremely serious. We had visited another urgent care who told us he was fine just 14 hours before coming here. We knew he wasn’t okay, and were extremely nervous but the moment we arrived at VEG, we knew he was in good hands. The vet was thorough in her examination and explanation of his diagnosis. She came up with a treatment str... read more

Dr.Leguizamo, Dr. McKinney, the nurses and the front desk staff are absolute angels and I'm forever grateful. My cat had a decreased appetite, decreased BMs and not playful anymore so I knew she needed to be seen. I called the H street location first since it's physically closer but they were already very busy so they recommended I call the Georgetown location. I believe I spoke to Dr McKinney, who listened to my concerns and also recommended for my cat to come in and advised about potential wait time after diagnostics. Upon... read more

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the team at VEG. I brought my very reactive dog, Bluebell, here last night and I was so worried about how she would do, as it is always a huge stressor for her to go to the vet, but the entire team from check in to technician to our incredible vet, Dr. Luguizamo, were so wonderful. Although all went well with her relatively minor procedure (cracked dew claw), she had a bad reaction coming off her sedation and the entire team was immediately by her side giving her top notch care ... read more

Can’t recommend this place enough. Saved 2 of my cats who had life threatening emergencies. More recently we had the pleasure of having Dr. Pietropaoli take care of us. She has excellent bedside manner and is extremely intelligent. I truly believe she is the reason our cat survived a critical illness. We are so grateful. Do not hesitate to come here
