The staff at VEG were absolutely wonderful. I really appreciated the open concept. Seeing the doctors and the staff dealing with other pets was very reassuring. The VEG Georgetown team is exceptional. All of the staff are friendly and responsive. They really calmed us down during a very stressful situation. Our cat had a complete urinary blockage which is extremely serious. We had visited another urgent care who told us he was fine just 14 hours before coming here. Dr.Leguizamo, Dr. McKinney, the nurses and the front desk staff are absolute angels and I'm forever grateful. My cat had a decreased appetite, decreased BMs and not playful anymore so I knew she needed to be seen. I called the H street location first since it's physically closer but they were already very busy so they recommended I call the Georgetown location. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the team at VEG. I brought my very reactive dog, Bluebell, here last night and I was so worried about how she would do, as it is always a huge stressor for her to go to the vet, but the entire team from check in to technician to our incredible vet, Dr. Luguizamo, were so wonderful. Can’t recommend this place enough. Saved 2 of my cats who had life threatening emergencies. More recently we had the pleasure of having Dr. Pietropaoli take care of us. She has excellent bedside manner and is extremely intelligent. I truly believe she is the reason our cat survived a critical illness. We are so grateful. Do not hesitate to come here
