Well, first and foremost the ER is the most laughable staff. Got to hear all about someone’s case of the clap through a closed door because of how loud they had to talk over everyone else laughing and having great time (and so did my wife), so if you see this hope you’re doing well While being wheeled up to ultrasound had a guy close the elevator door right on me and the nurses face (no it didn’t close he hit the button) Know how many times I heard “in 30 minutes” just to wait an hour plus? 3 times Got my IV, missed my vein ... read more
Dr Pratt was my Primary Care Physician at the SLC VA. I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy in 2019 and he failed to refer me to neurology for years while my condition worsened because of delayed treatment. He is aloof, disconnected, and unprofessional. He also makes erroneous notes in the medical record and will chart his opinions on medical conditions that he is not qualified to give an opinion on, which can complicate future benefit claims. He also has very poor education credentials. Please avoid this man at all cost.
I've had great service here in the past 40 years. Unfortunately I have to seek Healthcare elsewhere because of the blatant ineptitude in the past couple of years. Trust has completely evaporated.
My partner had emergent surgery and we were so impressed by the care we received from the entire medical team.
If any veteran is in severe back pain. I recommend you tell your provider to send you to pain management. I kept waiting to get sent to physical therapy which never works. Dr. Swasey assessed my pain rather than pushing me to another place. After a few rounds of injections and a more in depth session, my pain went down.
