My experience with the Long Beach VA has always been great. Today I had a 9am appointment. Arrived at the free valet parking 20 min before my appointment. They were fast polite and courteous. Checked in for my appointment at the kiosk and was seen right on time in Dermatology. After a quick biopsy, went to the flu clinic for my annual flu shot. NO STARS for the terrible treatment today at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System! My veteran husband took in our 85 year-old neighbor, a Korean combat veteran who simply wanted to get an updated Veteran ID card. The people in the Patient Business Information Center were horrible to him. They gave him the run-a-round for over an hour. They finally left without an ID card.
