I recently visited and was really disappointed by the attitude of the receptionist which I believe her name was Vanessa. She called out a patient’s name and later made a comment like “Why bother checking in if you’re not going to come in?” just as a man in a wheelchair was arriving. It felt insensitive and unkind, especially in a place that serves veterans who may have mobility challenges or other conditions. If I can give a 0 star I would!! We came from Victorville 50 min away without traffic. My husband hurt his knee he can’t stand or put pressure on it without pain. Took 20 min to get an Xray- 30 to be assigned a room-10 min to see a nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner saw my husband and asked if he has ever been diagnosed with Gout since it’s common with obesity. My husband said no he has never been diagnosed with Gout. Literally no one here except me and it still took ridiculously long. I was polite in spite of it and still got bad attitudes from the emergency room pharmacy techs. Not the first time this has happened either.

For the ER / Emergency room It’s a small one for sure but it packs a punch and in a good way. It’s almost always full of people especially after the PACT act helping so many veterans. Don’t let the crowds scare you, they tend to cover all the bases no matter how long you wait and every doctor I’ve had makes an effort to sit down with me and cover almost all my issues. This is an emergency room, you should always expect a minimum of an 8 hour wait whether you’re here for serious trauma or a nasty illness. If urgent care is ab... read more
