We took our 4 dogs to a local Vetco Clinic at Petco in Charleston, SC for their yearly vaccines and heart worm tests. We bought our first 6 month Simparico Trio for each dog from them. When I tried to refill for the next 6 months from another online prescription pharmacy, the veterinarian filled one that I needed. Now trying to get my other 2 dogs prescription’s filled, veterinarian declined. Heartworm tests are good for 1 year! Allivet Pharmacy said they would refill if I had an original prescription. I have used VETCO for a vaccine clinic because the prices were cheaper. The veterinarian giving vaccines was very professional along with the staff and it was very organized and they cleaned in between each animal. Will definitely use them again.
Vetco clinic uses deceptive practices! They say they do not charge to see the doctor on the front end. When you asked for a prescription to go get your medicine filled somewhere else because their medicine is $80 more. They tell you have to buy at least one dose from them before they can write a prescription. They do not write prescriptions. They say they email it to you, when you go to look up your prescription and get it filled, there’s no prescription. If you call their customer service they tell you must bring your dogs ... read more
