History Established in 1956. Started in 1956 by Frank T. Vescio and his mother, Teresa. Dinkytown, the original location, is still there in heart of Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota.

Italian Its a little expensive for the prortions. the food is very good quality. Service was great, very clean restaraunte. Best athentic italian food around.
Vescio's Italian Restaurant is one to pass up Although it's sort of a Minneapolis institution, this restaurant serves sub-par "red sauce" Italian. It's a favorite for older customers, but anyone who is even remotely discerning about Italian food will find much better options elsewhere/
Decent & Affordable Italian Food There is nothing about the cuisine at Vescios Italian Resteraunt that will knock you off of your feet. However, they do provide all of the standard Italian fare at a very affordable price. If you are looking for an inexpensive night out and you are looking for some mainstream Italian cuisine the check Vescios out. The wine list definately leaves something to be desired.
Fantastic Italian Restaurant! This family operated restaurant is located in Dinkytown. Since I've been going to this restaurant for probably 20 years I've had most everything on the menu at some point in time, and I've never been disappointed! The service is friendly, the food is delicious, and it is my favorite Italian. It's so popular, it can get packed with people, so we always order out, go pick it up, and bring it home. I have to say that I was kind of reminded by this place when I was in Italy. Their food is surely fresh and very delicious, the ambiance, one of a kind and very comforting most of the time.

Greatest restaraunt ever in the history of forever – I've been going to Vescios my whole life and I've never been any where better ever. The food is always great and so is the service. Even if you don't like italian food you will love it. and I dont know how anyone could write a bad review about it they, are probably crankypants or they were having a bad day, or both.
North East Italian cooking – My favorite Italian restaurant will always be Vescio's I am not sure what the two negative reviews are about. As I have been eating at Vescio?s since I was a little kid and I am now 38 so I have been eating their food for over thirty years and have never had bad service or food. For the price, I expect much more... – My family and I went to this restaurant on a Sunday in February. We were looking for something Italian, and because I really do not like the chain Italian restaurants, this seemed like a good choice. It is part of the "Twin Cities Originals" (TCO), a coalition of locally-owned, chef-driven restaurants typically known for fresh ingredients.
