Stopped by here after a quick visit to the skateboard museum before we headed home to the east bay. Service and quality was fantastic but the real reason I am leaving a review is for the paper bag that was given to my 5 yr old who ordered a cookie. It was lunch bag sized, but instead of the usual paper finish, it lined with wax to prevent grease going through. If you are charging premium for coffee and service, customer has the right to demand that. Hire a professional barista!
I have seldom been anywhere in Santa Cruz where the staff are more consistently rude than Verve. you’d think that management would be aware of this problem and want to correct it, but then again the menu doesn’t even have prices on it. I think Verve fancies itself some sort of dealership. I work a service job too. Serve the coffee and keep the snide comments to yourself.
The only thing I ever do is pass by this place. Since I walk home all the way from the Live Oak Public Library. I'm someone who's still flat broke. I still have a little brother and his wife who are thwarting me from what I want to have. I'm someone who can't have anything related to the Holy Bible.
