I had Vertex come out to do a bid for my house. They came out and bid the job for $450. I asked them to add me to the schedule a little over a week later. Almost a week after that I received a proposal for an amount different than the bid. When I asked what the difference was the response I received was it's close isn't it? I replied yes it's close but it's not the same. How does the bid change in price before you even start working on the job? Vertex roofing did an excellent job on our roof. The home is a 1978 home and had a 20 year old roof installed. The crew came in and ripped two layers of roof off, fixed a lot of water damage wood sheets under the old roof, and installed new shingles in two days! The only reason it wasn’t done in a day is because we pulled a permit for the entire home remodel that required Vertex to come back the next day (inspector had to come out). Awesome!! We had 2700 foot roof covered in old shake shingles, Vertex removed all the old shingles and put on a whole new roof in ONE day. Did an excellent job, cleaned up when they finished and even ran a magnet over the yard to pick up any loose staples and nails. Even picking out the right shingles was a painless experience with lots of Vertex samples to pick from. We are beyond happy with the way our new roof looks. Ron & Debbie McCabe
