I saw Dr. Schlueter for the first time yesterday. I’m not typically someone who leaves a review but I was blown away by his attention to detail and patient care. He thoroughly explained everything going on in my eyes and how it may be affecting me. He took his time to ensure I get the best results. Professional and caring. Never going anywhere else honestly!
I wish I could give this practice zero stars. The front desk representative lied to me when I asked about what would be covered under my insurance plan, and then blamed me when I called back and asked about why they charged me for something that should have been covered 100% by my insurance. Said that I should have known what was covered by my plan - I specifically asked for her help in understanding my coverage and she misled me, but stated it was my fault I believed her when she said that had to be paid out of pocket. Dr. Schlueter is amazing. I love how he is very informative by letting you know the why's and how's something is done, he asks questions so you are getting the best care! His knowledge has done wonders for my eyes. He is so amazing I decided to not get eye insurance at work since he was not in my network and payed out of pocket. Also, I can't forget Autumn, the receptionist/ office manager , she is also amazing, she is kind and wears multiple hats with a smile and knowledge. Great team and environment. Last year was my first visit to Dr. Schlueter and I was very impressed with his professionalism. He found a condition in my eyes that no one else had. I have been to the eye doctor regularly for the past 5 years and he was the first to mention it and explain it to me in terms I could understand. Thanks to him, I am able to get a medical treatment to help with this condition!
January 2026 update... I had concerning eye problems in December 2025. Autumn made sure to get me an appointment with Dr Schlueter right away. He urged me to see my regular Dr as soon as possible. He sent communication to them with his findings & concerns. (In the end everything turned out fine) I just finished my regular eye exam... He accommodated me by doing 2 contact prescriptions. One set for working on a computer. Another set for non working times. He and Autumn are a great team, I like that they know me & my history.... read more
